Hriday Gami Bio

“I was born in a crazy metropolis called New Delhi, that has its architectural history layered in time. Eighteen years of life in Delhi contributed to an immense passion for the art of architecture. Most of my formal learning has happened in Ahmedabad, a city where I currently live, a city with a fascinating history and a rich cultural heritage, a set of values and traditions carried through even in the present times. The School of Architecture at CEPT University has been an opportunity, or should I say a valuable platform, to gather an understanding of this city and its processes. I have developed a keen interest in aspects of architecture as a product of cultural processes and would like to further my understanding of cultures and their impact on the built environment, through research and design. As a keen traveler in space and time, I like getting lost in landscapes, taking intuitive decisions to make my way through difficult terrains.”
