Edward Couper Bio
Having studied architecture first in Australia and now in London, Edward continues to pursue research interests in building climate change resilience and adaptation for small island nations, with a focus on the Pacific and challenges faced in the region from rising sea levels. He is particularly interested in the innovative use of local materials and scarce resources to provide solutions. He believes that a focus on new technologies will not provide all the answers and that adaptation requires both time and a sensitivity to daily rituals in the usage of both private and communal space.
