Gunraagh Singh Talwar Bio

I was born and brought up in Delhi, where amidst the cross-cultural influence of culture and tradition, I spent my childhood tinkering with bits and pieces of whatever I could find to reach some or no product whatsoever. I grew up frugal minded and innovative, admiring usefulness in everyday things. In the two years that I have been training to be an architect at the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal, my own definitions for architecture and design are constantly contested and re-written. I have come to the understanding that architecture is not about the objective designed environment, but about the subjective experiential factor that it creates. I believe that architecture can be a catalyst for change and through design studios and competitions that I actively take part in, seek to reach a process that can aid me in manifesting the same.
