Elizabeth Njeri Mugo and Stephanie Brenda Wanjiru Munene - Bio
Elizabeth Njeri is a 23 year old lady, currently in her fifth year pursuing a bachelor of Architecture at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. With a keen interest in social architecture, Elizabeth is determined to later focus her study on the influence of social architecture on disaster stricken areas. Elizabeth is currently the President of Architecture Students Association in her university. She is also a member of AIESEC (Association Internationale des Étudiants en Sciences Économiques et Commerciales). She has completed a six-week internship in an International firm in Egypt, where she worked with a variety of consultants in a place where language was a barrier. This experience helped illuminate the need to have collaboration between all the consultants on board. Her bias to Architecture was brought about by her interest in problem solving and finding a visual representation to the theoretical solutions is a great plus. Her long-term ambition is to offer apprenticeship opportunities to young aspiring architects as did Frank Lloyd Wright at the Taliesin and foster social architecture. Her hobbies include reading novels, travelling and last but not least, watching Grey’s Anatomy.
Brenda Wanjiru is a 22 year old lady currently in her fourth and final year pursuing a Bachelor degree in Law. She has interned at Department of Justice, Naivasha Law Courts, Kimondo Gachoka, therefore gaining experience in usage of civic buildings within the country. Her interests within law include conveyancing, commercial and arbitration. Her hobbies include travelling, reading inspirational books. While in school, Brenda has been a religious member of Kenya Model United Nations and AIESEC.
