Elizabeth Njeri Mugo and Stephanie Brenda Wanjiru Munene - Bio

Elizabeth Njeri is a 23 year old lady, currently in her fifth year pursuing a bachelor of Architecture at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. With a keen interest in social architecture, Elizabeth is determined to focus on Vernacular and social architecture. She is not short of role models in her architectural practice, from Shigeru Ban, to Norman Foster to lately Daniel Libeskind.

Elizabeth is currently involved in the administrative role in ArchiDATUM, the President of Architecture Students Association in her university as well as the larger East Africa region.

Her bias to Architecture was brought about by her interest in problem solving and finding a visual representation to the theoretical solutions is a great plus. Her long-term ambition is to offer apprenticeship opportunities to young aspiring architects as did Frank Lloyd Wright at the Taliesin and foster social architecture. Her hobbies include reading novels, travelling and last but not least, avid fan of Grey’s Anatomy.
