Shahreen Mukashafat Semontee and Raquibul Hassan Bhuiyan Bios
Shahreen Semontee is currently doing her Bachelor in Architecture from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
Ever since she was a child, she loved making things – be it a bird made from clay, a rag doll, paper planes or flowers made from plastic bottles. Her passion for architecture might have been instilled from those early memories. Inspired by her lawyer-doctor parents, she’s interested in the humanitarian aspect of architecture. Being a nature enthusiast, she wants to explore how landscaping and bio engineering can lead to a resilient and eco effective future. A busy life dedicated to serving the needy using her academic knowledge - is her dream.
She’s a bookworm and can’t sleep without a book by her side. She’s been trained in classical dance since age 5 and credits it, to her outgoing nature and sense of rhythm and composition. Apart from these, she loves baking, up cycling and travelling whenever she can manage a break.
Hailing from a family of engineers, Raquibul Hassan was expected to pursue a career in engineering. But ended up studying bachelor in architecture for his flair for creativity and loves every moment of it.
He is interested in achieving sustainability of the urban built environment through design. He is a cinephille and loves all forms of visual art. His other interests include Photography and adventure.
